   | BackgroundAfter several phases I found myself on studying statistical athletics history. I started first with the period 1900 - 1910 and then the 19th century.Everything started in the year 2000 with humble top-10 lists for the years 1920 - 2000. After several years the harmless hobby turned into serious research with the world's top statisticians. Today I have on my database in some events full top-50 performance and performers lists down to the year 1850. And the research is still going on strongly.
